Slacker

I know I am such a slacker and have not kept up with my blog recently.  It seems I get so busy sometimes, and then I look back and can't even remember what I was busy doing.
Anyway here are some of my favorite 80's PROM photos from a few weekends ago.

Also I started a fanpage on facebook for my Mom this weekend.  She has been creating some adorable crochet hats that she has asked me to sell to make a little money on the side.  It is called Little Loops, check it out if you have a few minutes.

Knee update and sick circumstances

So, it has been about 2 months now since I had filled out paperwork for a knee injury that occured at work.  Two appointments with the physicians assistant at Business health, eight physical therapy appointments and One specialist appointment and STILL my knee is killing me.   In fact it hurts worse after the Specialist injected me knee with Cortizone.  I thought I was going in to have him evaluate my knee so I could get an MRI, I didn't even know what was coming.  I didn't even feel that I had a choice in the matter, it seemed as though he already had his mind made up that he was going to inject me before he entered the room.

To top it off, Cooper decided that he is going to wake up every hour crying hysterically, until I rock him back to sleep, put him down in the crib, hobble to my room with my bum knee, my head hits the pillow and it starts all over again. john did however rock him once, so that was a great relief. I stayed home with him today, he had a fever and quite frankly I was exhausted from not getting enough sleep. I spent two hours at the after hours clinic this evening for them to tell me he doesn't have an ear infection or strep throat. "Just give him some Motrin", they say,  "and keep an eye on him".  Isn't that what I have been doing all day long. Wow, great. So another night of sleeplessness is awaiting me. In fact I can hear the faint wimper of my sickly little man right now. God please heal all sickness and injury in my family, I could use a little rest and normalcy.

I don't want to end on a negative note. So,  Thank you God for the changing of seasons. I was blessed to see the sun shining through my backdoor this afternoon and hear the birds chirping.  I am so ready for Spring.
